Here is some photos of my antennas at my home QTH
I’m using a cushcraft MA5B which is up about 50' on a Clarks Scam-40 Mast.
I also have a caroliner Windom 80 special up at about 30'
My summer project is to put a inverted - V Doublet up.
Tube - a single 4CX800 (GU74b) grounded cathode, grid-driven , 1000W output all bands.
IMD's better than 35dB wrt rated output.
Harmonic suppression - 1.8-29.7 MHz better than 50dB. 50-54 MHz better than 60dB.
Broadband input circuit for solid-state radios - less than 1.3:1 input VSWR.
QSK - very quiet vacuum relay.
New digital-display approach for fast, accurate amplifier tuning.
LCD display; many parameters displayed similarly to ACOM 2000A.
Full protection to usual ACOM standard (protected against flashover, high SWR, mistuning, excess grid currents, switch-on surges, excess valve exhaust temperature, etc, etc).
Built-in automatic input attenuator to protect from excessive drive power.
Built-in filter to reduce TVI/BCI, with pi-L output network.
RF deck similar to ACOM 2000A.
Microprocessor control.
Built in RF-wattmeter (operates even when amplifier not in "operate" mode).
My working conditions are a ICOM 756 PROIII with a ACOM 1000,I am using a Icom SM20 Mic,I also have a Yaesu ft-1000mp mk5 field with an W2IHY 8 band equalizer using an heil goldline pro mic,I also use an Yaesu MD200-AX desktop Mic,My Antennas are cushcraft MA5B mini beam which is on a clark Scam 40 which is up at about 50',My other antenna is a radioworks Caroliner windom 80 special up at about 30'
I also have a Icom 910h multimode and a Kenwood TM-D700 which is dual band runnning into a coliner up around 20'
I also run a WX station on Ui-view using the Kenwood TM-D700,My other website is a live weather which updates every 30 seconds.
